Jillian's 30 Day Shred


Okay, I've been recommending this workout DVD all around town. It is so great. It will kick your butt and you'll come back for more. This is coming from JillyG here, one who usually says "no thanks" to exercise. I haven't done this DVD in the past week, and I actually miss it a little bit. I find that a workout dvd works best for me in getting the exercise in. I think most of you guys do the gym/running thing, but if you want to try it out I'll lend it to you.

Is it cardio? strength training? a bit of both? I'm looking for a good strength building dvd.

Isn't she on TV, like on Biggest Loser or something?

Miracle was just recently being an evangelist for this video, and has got me convinced that I need to try it. So your work goes forward...

I'll borrow from Miracle since she's closer!

it is a 20 min. workout of composed of 1 min. warm up, 1 min. cool down and 3, 6 minute circuits (3 min. strength, 2 min. cardio, 1 min. abs.)

jillian is a biggest loser trainer. the best one in my opinion.

i think miracle might have been suspicious of me when i said how hard it was...but when we finished the workout she was sweating as much as me!

I just watched a clip on Amazon. My favorite line: "If a 400 lb person can do jumping jacks, so can you."

I can't say the cover art motivates me. But your recommendation sure does, JillyG! I haven't done any workout videos but I'm not opposed to it at all. And it seems a good alternative to have as we come upon the rainy season.
